4. How We Share Information

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Fashion Forward, such as website hosting, email communications, analytics, forms, database/CRM, payment and event-management providers.

These providers may process information on our behalf for the purposes of providing their services.

We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users or services.

We do not sell member, applicant or subscriber lists to third parties.

Fashion Forward is a global community. Your information may therefore be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you live.

Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures regarding international transfers and processing of personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining our relationship with you, considering future participation where appropriate, complying with legal obligations and resolving disputes.

We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably necessary.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include requesting access, correction or deletion; withdrawing consent; objecting to or restricting certain processing; or opting out of certain uses or disclosures.

To submit a privacy request, contact:

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

8. Cookies and Analytics

Fashion Forward may use cookies and similar technologies for essential website functionality, analytics and other purposes described in our cookie notice or consent interface, where applicable.

You may have choices regarding nonessential cookies depending on your location and browser settings.

This site sets one cookie, named ff_house. It holds a single word — either that you opened the application form, or that you sent an introduction — and nothing else. It carries no identifier, it is never sent to or read by any other website, and it is used for one purpose: to offer you a way back into the House at the top of the page, and to show you your own confirmation rather than an empty form if you have already written to us. It lasts a year, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it. If your browser refuses cookies the page works exactly as it did the first time.

Where the law requires it, we ask before any analytics cookie is set. Until you answer, no analytics are loaded at all — not blocked after the fact, but never requested — and if you decline, nothing is sent and the site works exactly as it does otherwise. Your answer is stored in a cookie named ff_consent for a year, alongside a short-lived one named ff_region that records only whether you are somewhere we have to ask. You can change your answer at any time from the Cookies link in the footer.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Fashion Forward’s website and community are intended for adults and are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through membership-interest forms.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.
